confirmation
Confirmation is that time in a students life when they leave behind the faith of their parents and move in their own direction. Confirmation at Platte Woods UMC is a very important step in the spiritual life of our students. We take this time very serious and we ask all students to answer two questions:
- Are you (the student) a Christian (describe their God experience)
- Are you serious about growing in their Christian faith?
Confirmation takes place for the majority of our students during the 6th grade year. We also offer Confirmation for 7-12th graders throughout the year. Our Spring Confirmation class will begin on January 10 at 11AM in Room 12.
