As we move into the summer months, Flite Ministries has a lot of opportunities for students to be active and involved. Each summer activity is geared to help you build relationships with your friends and God. You can join us for everything or just one or two things. Don't feel pressured to overwork yourself. Make sure you check the registration deadlines for each event, you don't want to miss a deadline.

VBX
Can you survive in the jungle? If we dropped you off to a place you have never been, would you be able to survive? Join us for Survivorman VBX. This week will be filled with tips, tricks and tool to survive, not only the jungles of the world but also the jungle of Jr/Sr High. Our week will consist of worship services, small groups, wild experiments, a trip to the bowling alley, missions work and then a week ending trip to Worlds of Fun. You don't want to miss out. PDYM Student Leadership Conference
Think you have what it takes to be a Student Leader? Maybe, or maybe not. We are offering the chance for 10 students to take a trip to sunny California this summer to find out. The Purpose Driven Youth Ministry Student Leadership Conference is 4 days of training, ministry, worship and fellowship with other student leaders.

From their webiste "Want to take your student leaders to the next level? Want to start student leadership in your youth group? Take a trip to California to the Purpose Driven Youth Ministry Student Leadership conference July 14-17, 2009. This annual conference will change your students lives giving them insight into how they can fulfill God’s calling on their lives. Don’t miss this chance to have your students learn about biblical purpose and support your ministry as well.
General sessions by Doug Fields and other terrific speakers! Get practical ministry exercises and a retreat-like escape to Saddleback Church this July."

We will begin our journey to Southern California on Monday, July 13th and return on Sunday, July 19th. Our trip will take us on an incredible road journey from Kansas City to Denver to Las Vegas and then ending in Lake Forest, CA. This is going to be an incredible trip. The cost is approx. $325 per student and that includes all food, lodging, transportation and conference registration. We will have a meeting on Sunday, April 19th @ 6pm. This is for parents and students to come. A $150 non-refundable deposit will be due at this time. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Roy.

Colorado Workcamp
If you are looking for some outdoor fun, this workcamp is for you. On July 19-24 we will be joining other students from across the state for a week in Colorado. This isn't your typical workcamp, this camp will require us to sleep outside and rough it for the week. We will be staying in Woodland Park, working in the mountains, restoring wilderness from a forest fire, building trails and cleaning streams. If you are a nature freak or just love to camp and hike, you want to join us. The cost is $130 for registration and is only open for Sr High students. Sr High Mission Trip
All 9-12th graders are invited to join us for 3 days of work. Sounds fun doesn't it. We will be heading to Oklahoma City to help out with various agencies. This is a great time to give service to those that need help. Cost is $25 per person which includes food, transportation and lodging.
