Turkey Dinner

Turkey Dinner is a long time tradition at Platte Woods UMC and we are thankful that we are able to host it again this year. Last year we served over 900 people and this year we are expecting more. We need your help to make this event a success. We need people to make the food and then Flite Ministries will serve the food.

For all those adults who would like to take a leading role (mananager), we will have a meeting on Oct 21st at 6pm to discuss some details and prepare for the dinner. We are adding a new element this year. We are going to have reserved table seating in Memorial Hall. The food will all be the same, same buffett style but people will be able to buy a table rather than individual tickets.

Tickets are available in the Dining Hall on Sunday mornings from 9-12pm. Tickets prices are $8 for Adults, $4 for Children, $25 for a family of 5. The week of Turkey Dinner, ticket prices will increase to $10 for Adults, $5 for Children, $30 for a family of 5. You can purchase a table for $100. These tables will be in Memorial Hall and will be sold in 40 minute increments. Purchasing a table allows you to determine what time you will be there and keeps you from having to wait in line.
